Mission:

The History Club seeks to promote historical awareness, intellectual growth, and social welfare of the Jackson State University Community, and to promote appreciation for the aim and objectives of Jackson State University.

Resources and Facilities:
​
The Jackson State University History Club is housed in the Department of History and Philosophy at the College of Liberal Arts at Jackson State University. As such, we have access to the Garret F. Weaver Library and Lab in the History Department, the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, the Margret Walker Center Archive and Museum of the African American Experience, and the COFO Center.
Requirements to Join:
In order to join the JSU History Club you just have to be a student at Jackson State University who is enrolled with a least 6 credit hours and maintain a GPA of 2.0.
